Resumen:

Robert Schumann (1810-1856) fue renombrado compositor alemán nacido en Zwickau (Sajonia). Está Considerado, junto al compositor austríaco Franz Schubert (1797-1828), el creador del lieder romántico. Destacan las colecciones intituladas: Los amores del poeta (1840), Romanzas (1841) y Baladas (1847) . Schumann fue el primero y más grande músicoliterato que haya existido. De ahí que la poesía desempeña un papel de tanta trascendencia en su creación musical; más aún, que no pueda excluir de su música. Compuso además de magistrales  ciclos de lieder, notables obras para piano, sinfonías, conciertos, sonatas... todas ellas cargadas de melodías de inspiración exquisita y enmarcadas dentro de una técnica compositiva depurada. La música de Schumann, saturada de contrastes, de estados de ánimo continuamente opuestos, sentimental en el mejor sentido de la palabra y enérgicamente sana y viril refresca, su romanticismo juvenil despierta nuestra fe en los ideales y la esperanza de poder huir, de vez en cuando, de la existencia cotidiana hacia el mundo fantástico en que mora la Belleza y la Poesía.
Con la intervención y ayuda de la justicia, tras una lucha que duró más de cuatro años, finalmente en 1840 logró el artistaconseguir la mano de su novia, la concertista de piano Clara Wíeck-Schumann (1819-1896). Por otra parte, a lo largo de su existencia Schumann se desempeñó como maestro de música, pianista acompañante, ocasional director de orquesta y respetado crítico musical.
Como dato significativo, la grandiosa Sonata en si menor para piano, compuesta en 1853 por Liszt (Ver Franz Liszt del Acta Académica 49) está dedicada a Robert Schumann.

Abstract:

Robert Schumann (1810-1856) was renowned German composer born in Zwickau (Saxony). Robert Schumann and the Austrian composer Franz Schubert (1797-1828), are considered the creators of romantic lieder. Entitled collections Highlights: The Poet’s Love (1840), Romances (1841) and Ballads (1847). Schumann was the first and greatest musician-writer ever. Hence poetry plays a role of such importance in musical creation, yea rather, that it can’t exclude from their music. He also composed of masterful lieder cycles, remarkable piano works, symphonies, concertos, sonatas, all of them inspired melodies full of exquisite and framed within a refined compositional technique. The music of Schumann, full of contrasts, with opposite continually moods, sentimental in the best sense of the word and vigorously healthy and virile, youthful romanticism awakens our faith in the ideals and hopes of escape, from time to when, of everyday existence into the fantasy world that dwells Beauty and Poetry.
With the intervention and aid of justice, after a struggle that lasted more than four years, finally in 1840 the artist was able to get the hand of his bride, the concert pianist Clara Wieck-Schumann (1819-1896). Moreover, throughout its existence Schumann served as a music teacher, pianist, occasional respected conductor and music critic.
As an important fact, the great Sonata in B minor for piano, composed in 1853 by Liszt (Franz Liszt See Academic Act 49), is dedicated to Robert Schumann.
